On 15–16 September, we will be heading to Ohrid, North Macedonia, to take part in International Audit Conference 2026, organised by IIA North Macedonia.

The international conference brings together professionals and experts from internal and external audit, risk management, compliance, accounting and ethics. This year’s event will take place at Hotel Metropol, overlooking Lake Ohrid, and will focus on current challenges and developments in areas including audit, risk, compliance, IT security, ethics and human capital.

We are particularly pleased that Jan Anisimowicz, Head of Efficiency & Innovation at C&F, will be among the conference speakers.

Jan will take the stage at the very beginning of the first conference day, immediately following the opening welcome speech by Biljana Sekulovska and Nenad Tortevski. At 10:00, during the “Echoes of Decisions” opening session, he will deliver a presentation entitled:

“Raiders of the Lost Compliance: Indiana Jones’ Approach to Third-Party Compliance and Risk Management”

The presentation will offer a fresh perspective on third-party compliance and risk management—combining practical insights with a touch of Indiana Jones-style adventure.
